Blissful Spiders

Posted by stewardhklarlover - July 14th, 2015

To my fellow Christians

2015

(1) It's nasty and disgusting to keep large globs of wax in your ears. We are to keep our temples clean, not filthy. Wax attracts tiny creatures to the eardrums. Spiders and cockroaches love dirt, especially earwax. Wax doesn't protect your eardrum.

(3) Eve messed up. We're in this crazy mess because of Eve. If she had never eaten the fruit, we wouldn't be in this sinful world. We would have been living in bliss and perfection. I get pissed off when I think about it.

God did allow her to make that mistake, though. You might be angry about it, but free will can be a (INSERT SWEARWORD HERE) sometimes. Eve had all the time to think about it, and the bliss with God, and she made her choice. It's a bad one, but it's a choice. And yet...... it's the prerequisite for loving God. Otherwise it wouldn't be love, no? We'd be a bunch of robots. God didn't want that -- He does not want that.

I speak from personal experience because I am a witness to how free will can be misused. My parents had all the free will they had to raise their children well. I am their only child -- and instead of taking advice and knowing that they have people who love and support them, they just turned around and said, "You have no business in telling me how to raise my child!" -- and physically, verbally and emotionally abused me. It pains me to accept it as much as it pains you, but that's what misused free will can do.

And yet, free will gives us the power to move on from such incidences, and not dwell on them. Free will brings healing, if we only ask God for it and act in accordance with someone who wants healing.

You're correct. Eve had all the time to think about it. Personally, I'm glad I have free will. I'm certainly glad I'm not a robot. God certainly doesn't want a bunch of robots. If He did, we would have created us that way.
That's jacked up how your parents physically, verbally, and emotionally abused you. That frickin sucks. That's certainly a misused free will.
You're correct. We show our strength by moving on from such events. Power grows inside of us each day as we overcome obstacles, whether past or present. Not dwelling on them is the best thing to do. Overcoming them is our goal. Well spoken.
